What you'll be working on
- Conducting competitor and market research to identify trends in the industry
- Analyzing customer data and feedback to develop insights about the brand
- Creating strategic plans and recommendations to strengthen the brand's positioning
- Lead ongoing collaborative insights and strategy development with cross-functional teams, including marketing, insights, and creative.
- Focus on driving brand strategy for the Hill's brand within the evolving pet care category.
- Work closely with the Colgate-Palmolive team to assess methods for gathering strategic insights and identifying key brand assets ("brand ownables").
- Collaborate with the team to refine and enhance brand positioning in response to market changes.
- Leverage expertise in brand strategy to ensure excellence in brand ownables and positioning.
- Support brand creative communications tasks as needed throughout the assignment.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in brand management, marketing strategy, or consulting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using data analysis tools to derive customer insights
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
