Our Ways of Working
We’re a remote-first company with team members located across the United States spanning multiple time zones. We know how valuable the flexibility of remote work is for our employees so people can get the work done in the way that suits them best. With rare exception, our employees generally work 9-5 in their home time zone.
What The Role Is
Babylist is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our product team on a 6-month contract. In this role, your primary focus will be solving user problems and creating intuitive, user-centered designs that improve the Babylist experience.
As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll contribute across all stages of the design process, from research and strategy to prototyping and user testing. You’ll use your expertise in UX design to ensure our users’ needs remain central to the product development process. This role will span all three of our platforms (web, iOS, Android) and involve designing for multiple user groups, including parents-to-be and their gift givers.
Key skills include user research, design strategy, concepting, low- to high-fidelity UI design, prototyping, information architecture, workshop facilitation, and usability testing. Our ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor who thrives in ambiguity and brings a mix of creative and analytical thinking to solve complex problems.
Who You Are
This contract role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact at Babylist, improving the user experience for millions of parents and gift givers. As part of the team, you’ll help elevate Babylist’s design standards and deliver innovative solutions that simplify the journey for growing families.
Why You Will Love Working At Babylist
This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact at Babylist, helping improve the user experience for millions of parents and gift givers. You’ll work on products that positively impact families, supported by a team that values collaboration and exceptional design.
At Babylist, we build products with a positive purpose, value work/life balance, and believe in supporting our employees with the tools and resources they need to succeed. We are an antiracist organization, committed to doing the work to support differences of all kinds, and fostering a workplace rooted in equity, inclusion, and growth.
