Job Title: Frontend Developer (Full-Time, Freelance)

Job Type: Full-Time (Freelance, 40 hours per week)

Location: Remote (Primarily IST, with occasional Pacific Time meetings)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Developer with expertise in React.js to build and optimize modern, scalable, and responsive user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with JavaScript (ES6+), React performance optimization, CSS frameworks (MUI, Tailwind CSS), API integrations, and version control (Git/GitHub). This role is a full-time freelance position, requiring 8-hour workdays as part of a Scrum team, with occasional meetings in Pacific Time, but most work done in IST.

Key Responsibilities:

React.js Development:

Develop and maintain React.js applications using JSX, React Hooks, and React Router.

Implement state management using Redux or similar libraries.

Optimize application performance using techniques like lazy loading, memoization, and code splitting.

Utilize tools such as react-testing-library, NPM (vite, Yup, Formik) for efficient development and testing.

CSS & UI Development:

Create modern, responsive, and visually appealing layouts using Material-UI (MUI), Tailwind CSS, and modern CSS practices.

Ensure consistency in UI/UX across different devices and screen sizes.

JavaScript & TypeScript:

Implement modern JavaScript (ES6+) concepts, including async/await, destructuring, and class-based components.

Familiarity with TypeScript is a plus.

Version Control & CI/CD:

Proficient with Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab, including managing pull requests and version control workflows.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage YML files, and ensure streamlined deployments.

API Integration & Authentication:

Work with RESTful APIs and integrate them into front-end applications.

Implement authentication mechanisms such as JWT.

Testing & Debugging:

Write and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools like react-testing-library.

Debug and optimize frontend performance.

Basic Qualifications:

3+ years of experience working with JavaScript frameworks, particularly React.js.

Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques.

Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.

Basic understanding of backend technologies such as Python is advantageous.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week (Full-Time Freelance).

Part of a Scrum team, working 8 hours per day.

Most work can be done in IST, but occasional meetings in Pacific Time may be required
