This is a 6-month contract with possibility of extension, 40 hours/ week. This is classified as an EOR engagement. No C2C Engagements. No visa sponsorship/ visa transfer available.

Open to candidates based in LATAM, Europe, US and/or Canada who are able to overlap PST-EST hours.

We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist / Data Engineer to join our team and help drive data-driven decision-making. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining data pipelines, building analytical models, and ensuring data availability for business insights. This role requires a mix of engineering expertise, machine learning knowledge, and the ability to work with large datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Build, deploy, and optimize machine learning models for predictive analytics.
• Ensure data integrity, reliability, and performance across systems.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse architectures and data lakes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, product managers, and software engineers.
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) to manage data infrastructure.
• Develop real-time data processing solutions using Kafka, Spark, or similar technologies.
• Create data visualization dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and either Java or Scala.
• Data Engineering: Experience with ETL pipelines, Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar tools.
• Big Data & Databases: Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Machine Learning (if applicable): Familiarity with scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Data Streaming: Knowledge of Kafka, Kinesis, or similar technologies.
• Data Warehousing: Understanding of star schema, OLAP, and data modeling principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
