Ledger is looking for a highly motivated tax intern to join our Finance Team!
In this role, you will support the tax and accounting team and be a key part in helping the growth of the business. Managing taxes at Ledger is particularly challenging and exciting: crypto taxes, all kinds of French taxes but also worldwide taxes as Ledger offers its products and services across 200 countries.
Starting date: From January 2025
Duration: 6 months
Your mission
- Follow the registration/deregistration of our companies for indirect taxes in several countries (following sales for the thresholds)
- Help to prepare the different declarations: VAT declarations in France, EU (UOSS) and other countries (Salt in US, GST in Canada...), Intrastat declarations
- Help to follow the tax credit (CIR)
- Help with the transfer pricing policies
- Follow news about crypto and taxes
What we’re looking for
- You have a Bachelor’s degree (at least Bac +3 in tax law) with strong analytical skills
- You are fluent in French & English
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You have solid Excel skills
- Knowledge of transfer pricing, accounting and customs will be welcome
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- You are positive, curious, self-motivated and hands-on
- Interest in crypto industry would be a nice to have
