About the role

We're seeking an exceptional Chief Revenue Officer to join our Senior Leadership team and drive Transak's next phase of growth. As CRO, you'll own the entire revenue engine from marketing, pipeline generation, closing deals, partner success, and revenue operations. This role reports directly to the CEO and is critical to scaling our business as we cement our position as the leading onboarding infrastructure provider in Web3.

What You'll Own

  • Revenue Leadership: Full P&L ownership of sales, pipeline development, forecasting, and revenue operations
  • Team Building: Lead and scale teams across Lead Generation, Sales, Partner Success, Developer Relations, and Revenue Operations
  • Marketing: Oversee marketing reporting and hire a Marketing Director to align demand generation with revenue goals
  • Sales Operations: Design and optimize sales processes, commission structures, payouts, and CRM systems
  • Cross-functional Alignment: Manage sales requests to Product, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure efficient resource allocation and customer success
  • Strategic Planning: Become a key member of the Senior Leadership team, shaping company strategy and go-to-market execution

What Success Looks Like

In Your First 90 Days:

  • Deliver and grow revenue for the company right from the beginning
  • Establish trust and credibility across the organization, particularly with Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams
  • Assess current sales processes, pipeline health, and team capabilities
  • Develop a clear revenue growth strategy and 12-month roadmap
  • Begin building or refining the revenue team structure

In Your First Year:

  • Build a high-performing, scalable revenue organization that team members would follow to their next company
  • Implement disciplined sales operations, forecasting, and reporting frameworks
  • Consistently hit or exceed quarterly revenue targets
  • Establish Transak as a trusted partner with key accounts through consultative solution engineering
  • Create efficient cross-functional workflows that respect and optimize company resources

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of management experience leading revenue teams
  • Proven track record of building out a revenue organization from scratch or through a significant scale phase
  • Deep knowledge and genuine passion for fintech and blockchain technology
  • Solution engineering mindset: Ability to understand complex technical infrastructure (APIs, compliance frameworks, payment rails) and translate customer needs into viable solutions
  • Relationship mastery: Track record of building multi-level relationships (C-suite, Product, Legal, Technical) and influencing partner roadmaps
  • Process excellence: History of building scalable sales frameworks, maintaining pipeline hygiene, and driving forecast accuracy

We'll Be Especially Impressed If You Have

  • Experience selling B2B infrastructure or developer-focused products
  • Background in payments, compliance, or regulated financial services
  • Existing relationships in the consumer finance and blockchain ecosystem
  • Experience balancing technical feasibility, regulatory constraints, and commercial outcomes
  • Recognition as a thought leader or relationship-builder in fintech or Web3
